Concern for Serene Branson has been mounting after a video of the reporter for CBS L.A. went viral last night. Serene was unable to speak during a wrap-up segment for the 2011 Grammy awards, and has since been hospitalized. Recent reports claim the entertainment anchor may have suffered from a stroke.

Serene's report for CBS2 gave rise to concern after she was incoherent and unable to form sentences — speaking in what sounded like gibberish.

After being introduced from the studio, she started out with "Well a very, very..." before mispronouncing "heavily" leading to a string of jumbled phrases.

According to UK's The Telegraph, Serene suffered a stroke on the air which is why she was unable to deliver a coherent news report.
