The first teaser trailer for Disney Pixar’s 2012 film, Brave, has been released.

According to Huffington Post, Merida, a Scottish warrior princess, will be the first female lead of a Pixar film. Kelly Macdonald voices the princess while Emma Thompson, Julie Walters, Billy Connolly and Craig Ferguson also lend their talents to the film.

Merida isn’t like a Disney princess, as she avoids royalty to fulfill her dream of becoming an archer.
