Casey Abrams had a lot to prove last night on American Idol after the judges decided to save him last week when it was still the top 11 contestants. So Casey decided to clean up his act and sing a soft Elton John love song titled, "Your Song."

"Listen man, I'm sure that I speak for my fellow judges — I think it's one of the greatest saves we've ever had on this show saving you," Randy Jackson said. "That performance, hearing you sing, but not lose all of who the Casey is that makes you different was absolutely brilliant. That was so nice and so tender, dude. Very nice choice and well done, man."

"I have to concur that one of the finest moments on the show was putting you through," Steven Tyler added. "If not but for the last two notes of that song, that was the most beautiful... if that was the only two notes that you sang that would have gotten a standing ovation. The thing about you is you sing different every time and I love that about you because that shows a true artist. That's all."

"Along the way we've had to make some hard decisions and send some really, really great people home and I've lost sleep over that," Jennifer Lopez said. "But one decision I didn't lose one once of sleep over was saving you — I slept like a baby! You proved why tonight with the character in your voice, with the choices that you made in that song and it was just very Casey. Thank you."
