Watch Kate Middleton Flip Flapjacks in Ireland With Prince William for Pancake Day!

Prince William and fiancée Kate Middleton made a surprise visit to Northern Ireland today and had some fun flipping flapjacks in honor of Pancake Day. Stateside we celebrate International Pancake Day on March 1, but overseas it is celebrated today! The royal couple stopped by Belfast's City Hall and Greenmount Agricultural College during their day-long trip.

Outside City Hall, Kate and Will met representatives from the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children where they tossed pancakes with children from the charity.

William wore a blue suit for the occasion and Kate looked as classy as ever in a double-breasted, beige coat.

After flipping flapjacks, Kate watched a tug-of-war in the rain at Greenmount Agricultural College in Belfast, where she and Prince William also helped install a fence.

The Royal Couple are visiting Northern Ireland as part of a tour of the nation that began a couple of weeks ago when the couple went to their alma mater St. Andrew's University in Scotland, followed by Anglesey in North Wales to launch a lifeboat, the BBC reports. They are only spending today day in Ireland and the trip was kept secret due to security issues.

The happy couple will marry on April 29 at Westminster Abbey in a highly-anticipated ceremony.
