Meryl Streep is back to doing what she does best — transforming herself entirely for a new movie role. A teaser trailer for The Iron Lady has just been released featuring Meryl as British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

The Iron Lady teaser trailer (via Huffington Post) was revealed during the morning show, BBC Breakfast, and gives fans the first glimpse of how Meryl sounds as Margaret.

The film, directed by Phyllida Lloyd, shows Margaret's rise to power as the first and only woman Prime Minister in Britain's history despite protests.

Could this film bring Meryl her 14th Academy Award nomination? The Iron Lady is set to hit theaters Jan. 6!
