According to Just Jared, here's the plot summary of The Best and the Brightest:

"Set in the world of New York City’s elite private kindergartens, the comedy centers on a fresh-faced young couple, Samantha (Bonnie Somerville) and Jeff (Neil), who have only recently moved into town. They soon realize the lengths they must go to in order to get their 5-year-old daughter into school."
