In the new MTV episode, Maci explains her plan to Ryan before she picked Bentley up.

"What I wanted to talk to your mom about is whenever you need to come get Bentley from my house you can pick him up at my parents' house. And when I need to come get him then I can pick him up from your parent," Maci explained. "Because I don't think we need to be around each other in front of Bentley right now because we can't get along. And he gets upset when we argue in front of him. Is that okay with you?"

"I guess. That seems kind of retarded," Ryan said. "That's about the most childish thing I've ever heard in my life though."
