Get ready all you Knocked Up fans! A new trailer for the film's "sort-of sequel" This Is 40 has just been released, featuring Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann, who are reprising their roles from the 2007 hit comedy.
Writer and director Judd Apatow, who's Leslie's real-life husband, is giving us a peek at the lives of two of Knocked Up's favorite characters, Pete and Debbie, as they enter their 40s. (Did we mention that the Apatow kids, Maude and Iris, are back too?)
Although Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl will not be appearing in the movie, newcomers and comedic standouts, Jason Segel and Melissa McCarthy, both have roles in This Is 40, which will hit theaters on Dec. 21.
Judd Tweeted that the story of Seth and Katherine's characters, Ben and Alison, "is for another time," which we hope means, it will eventually be revisited. Come on, we all want to see what happened with that baby…
