TV Fanatic and OK!’s Derek Ivie break down your fave shows of the night!

Project Runway: “This was the episode that caused a little media ruckus before the show even started. Contestant Jack, who is HIV-positive, got a Merca staff infection on his lip which caused his face to swell. While it wasn’t nessecuarily caused by his condition, it was enough to make Jack decide to leave the competition and seek medical attention. Bummer. But on the bright side, Runway’s sunniest player this season, Chris, returned in his spot. I was totally ready for this week’s challenge: create clothing for real women who had lost a significant amount of weight using their favorite outfit they wore before the weight loss. I’m always trying to cut up clothes I’ve lost that loving feeling for and turn them into something new and fabulous. And on my limited amount of sewing knowledge, I sometimes do. That’s why it was so disappointing to see some of the “sweet merciful crap” – as Steven would say – that made its way down the runway. Sure, Chris didn’t have a lot of time to create that ill-fitting blue and black dress with red accents he sent 65-pound slimmer Silva down the runway in, but it was ugly. Still, it wasn’t as bad as Steven’s outfit. He got Laura’s (136 pounds lighter, you go girl!) hideously beaded, polyester-satin wedding gown. For a talented designer, it should have been a gold mine of possibilities. Instead, Steven bought a ream of boring black material and made a dress accented with a white collar and sleeves. Ennui! He got kicked off, and rightfully so. As much as a hate to give props to self-indulgent Christian, his funky black blouse and jeans for Kerry (45-pounds lighter) did look like a hot, ready-to-wear ensemble. Bravo!” – TV Fanatic

America’s Next Top Model: "Yawn, yawn, yawn. I think that was the most boring season finale of Top Model EVER! The girls do their Cover Girl commercial and print ad and of course Jennah is told that she is acting like she is over the whole thing. Chantal is crazy bubbly as usual and Saleisha cries. Tyra told them to just let it out if they have to. So Saleisha listens to everything Tyra says… kiss ass! They go to judging and although Jennah takes beautiful pictures Tyra thinks she still needs to find herself and she’s sent home. Tyra… this isn’t your talk show… this is Top Model!  Stop the nonsense! All the girls are crying and Tyra says something to the effect of "Ya’ll are gonna make me cry cause there are so many tears up in here!" Whatever. The show is no longer exciting because we all know who is going to win. They do their fake runway show that was set up specifically for Top Model, although I will admit that Tyra looked fierce when she walked the runway in the beginning. Nigel looked a little awkward, but he wasn’t on for long. The girls walked the runway while they were surrounded by stilt performers. One of the performers stepped on Chantal’s train and the performer fell. She felt really bad and broke character. Judging was short. The girls came back and Chantal had this look on her face like she knew she lost… and surprise: SHE DID! Saleisha is America’s Next Top Model. She cheered and was happy. I was bored. The only thing I will say is that her "My Life" commercials next cycle will probably be really good. I think it might be time to make things a little more exciting for cycle ten. When Heather was kicked off I still had hope for Jennah. Then she was kicked off and I could care less about who won. Congrats Saleisha, I guess." – Derek
