Confession: When I agreed to take this job (as OKMagazine.com's Beauty and Fashion Editor) I pledged to kick my pride to the curb and offer up all my embarrassing photos and stories for the sake of my craft and the benefit (?) of this site. I might be regretting that decision as I type this...

That's right kids, if there's ever a beauty trend that's running rampant, you better believe I'm going to try it. Ombré locks? Check. And ombré lips? Yep, been there, done that. Glitter gel manicures, extra bronze-y spray tans, and 24K gold facials have all gotten some love on my Instagram (@KelliAcciardo), but before there were these gems (and beauty editor access) there was one iconic cut that started it all: The Rachel. I committed to this super-layered, super-highlighted cut like none other (accept maybe Jen An) and I think that's what should be recognized here—my determination to get her 'do right. Not that it looked beyond God awful on me.

Now, clearly if I'm making myself put my high school yearbook pic on full display (despite of the humiliation I'm about to receive), you better damn well believe I'm going to make my co-workers do the same.

And then there was Kaitlin...

OK, so those aren't K Menz's abs, but they ARE Britney's! It's Britney B*tch made her get her belly button pierced and she lived to tell the tale:

"I demanded to get my belly button pierced in seventh grade, when Britney Spears pierced hers, and my mom promised I could get it done for my Sweet 16, probably hoping I'd forget about it. Nope! I still have a silver butterfly dangling from my stomach to this day, because it's better than a weird hole there (I tell myself)."

Agreed. Moving on to Ally...

Mary-Kate-and-Ashley-Olsen-Ally

I mean COME ON, it just doesn't get any more adorable than this. Obvi, Ally had a thing for the Olsen's hair (didn't we all?)—and she'd like to tell you about that:

"I was obsessed with Mary-Kate and Ashley, so for about a year of my middle school life I would use rollers on only the ends of my hair to make sure they flipped up like the girls' did in Winning London. As you can see in the picture, I clearly took the flip to the extreme."

So there you have it—the haircuts, body piercings, and dye jobs we succumbed to in the name of true fandom. What have you copied from a celeb as a token of your appreciation for their looks? Sound off in the comments below or on Twitter @OKMagazine!
