The future of The Lying Game is still up in the air (c'mon, ABC Family, don't play us like that—we want more!) but series star Charisma Carpenter isn't slowing down. OK! caught up with the actress at The Lone Ranger premiere, chatting about summer plans, workouts and her upcoming Investigation Discovery show Surviving Evil.

Charisma Carpenter: On July 3 I’m going to Paris to see my fans there and then enjoy the typical tourist attractions. And it will be Bastille Day while I’m there on July 14 and the last time I was there on July 14 but it was in 1989 so it’s going to be exciting to see it so many years later.

OK!: What’s going on with Surviving Evil?

CC: I don’t know if I’m allowed to say the date, but it premieres at the end of August. We’re full steam ahead. I just recently did a co-branding campaign with Toyota and we shot that commercial a couple of days ago. We’re ready to go.

OK!: What’s your workout of choice these days?

CC: I train with a trainer regularly. I love my trainer Mark Monroe. He mixes it up. We did some boxing the other day. I brought my son to work out because he’s out of school and we had a lapse between summer camp and school. Sometimes we do that together. We’ll do an outdoor workout when he comes along.

OK!: If The Lying Game returns, what would you like to see happen with your character?

CC: I really liked the beginning of the season when she and Adrian Pasdar, who plays Alec, did this sort of Mr. and Mrs. Smith bit. I really enjoyed that, where they were under the same roof and never really knew if one was going to kill the other. I thought that was very exciting. It was fun to film and just having a dinner scene it was so loaded with the steak knife and is my wine tainted. That was a very fun episode and I would have loved for that to have carried out throughout the season.

What would you like to see happen on a hypothetical third season of The Lying Game? Tell us in the comments below or tweet @OKMagazine.
