Jenn Sterger is speaking out for the first time to Good Morning America after the New York Jets TV host was involved in the Brett Favre sexting scandal last fall. Jenn says, “I just want my life back. That’s all I’m asking for.”
In an two-part interview with Good Morning America that airs Tuesday and Wednesday, Jenn opens up on allegedly received inappropriate phone messages and naked photos from Brett in 2008.
“I haven’t made a dime off anything in this whole situation. Not from the pictures,” Jenn says. “Not from Favre. I never wanted to sue anyone. That was never an intention of mine.”
“I’m not a gold-digger,” she adds. “The only way I wanted to make my money this whole time was to just have a job.”
Brett was fined $50,000 by the NFL after not cooperating with their investigation and officially ended his NFL career in January.
Since the scandal, Jenn has been trying to rebuild her career.
“You know, I was trying to go to work. Do my job,” she explains. “But how are you supposed to report on the news when you are the news? It was tough. It was embarrassing. It was humiliating. All I wanted to do was go to work. Do my job. That’s all I wanted.”
