Lady Gaga Shares ARTPOP Album and Single Release Date!

Finally! Lady Gaga has given us a date (actually, make that a couple dates) to look forward to. August 19th may just be the most musical day of the entire summer—ya better bring your boomboxes to the beach. That's the day that Gaga will release the first single of her new album! The celeb has also announced the release date of her entire artsy album. According to Gaga's post on Facebook, the full ARTPOP album and app, which will be a mix-up of sounds, sites, and tech systems, will debut on November 11th.

So you're like, playing "Just Dance" on repeat now, right? Well, you've got a reason to get your groove. (and release your inner artist) The FB post explains that the album "musically mirrors Gaga's creative process as she passes through the medium of each artist she collaborates with, scoring a blueprint of her journey."

Yes, Gaga will collaborate with other artists on this app-album mix. The post goes on to mention the artistry to expect, including Inez & Vinoodh, Robert Wilson, famous performance artist Marina Abramović, and Jeff Koons.

Not exactly the typical track, huh? We're looking forward to it!  By the way, you can press pre-order on September 1st.
