When K.Michelle writes a song, she basically writes about what's going on in her life. We say that's a good rule of thumb, especially since her mentor R. Kelly told her to! "Write life and not music, and you'll always have a job." Those are the words of wisdom that K.Michelle says she heard from the accomplished artist.
