Mariah Carey lost her balance on stage while performing this weekend in Singapore and it wasn’t from crazy dance moves. The culprit? Her high shoes. The singer’s slip was very graceful, and her back-up dancers and crew immediately came to her rescue.
“I did that on purpose,” Mariah quipped with a smile on her face after her fall. “Someone come out here and take these shoes off me.”
“We love her, she is a darling dear,” the singer said of a crew member who came to her aid on stage and took off her stilettos.
Mariah was performing her hit “Make it Happen” during the wipe out.
Her backup dancers continued to hold her up until Mariah was stable on her own.
Mariah also made sure to Tweet at all her fans in Singapore.
“TY SO much to my fans in Singapore!!! Yeah, several hectic moments, (lol!)but I tried to swirl them into festive!.Love+ God Bless!” she wrote, followed by “Again Singapore, thanks so much for allowing me to just be who I am &just have fun+connect w/everyone there! Thanks 4 the LOVE!x0x”
