Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy took a tumble during their rumba on Dancing With the Stars last night, but Maksim explained to the judges that his "thigh gave out" and "it had nothing to do" with his partner.

Despite falling during their dance, Kirstie and Maksim were able to save their score by receiving 7's from each of the three judges. Part of the reason for their high score may have been due to how quickly they were able to pick themselves up and continue on with their routine!
Maksim was very apologetic to Kirstie after their performance spoke to reporters after the show about how they recovered from the tumble.
How's Maks' leg now?
"Still attached," he told reporters.
"Look at his legs and his a**," Kirstie added. "He’s got the best legs I’ve ever seen."

And the pair used that to their advantage by turning on the sexy in their performance!
"In my head it was this, 'What the f**k am I doing?' and then 'I didn’t do that step right, Maks will kill me.' Come on, this is a fun, live, it’s like doing Saturday Night Live," Kirstie explained of their mistake. "You know I’ve done SNL twice you get out there and start laughing and f**k up the scene and love it!"
"But this is not like Saturday Night Live," Maks said.
"It is!" Kirstie argued.
"It really isn’t. This is more like a circus," Maks explained. "You know the rule in the circus? When you mess up you get up and do it again. That’s why…"
"We did that!" Kirstie said. "But there was something sort of sweet about it, when you go through something with someone, it’s not all fr**kin' flowers, it’s gonna be dips and ebbs and tides and something sort sweet about you know, do we have the ability to carry on and do this?"
And the judges couldn't have been more sweet with their scores!
"Oh my God I was shocked," Kirstie said. "I was like, are you kidding me? It was like a Valentine."
