We bet Jill Scott has been practicing her lullabies for this moment: the songtress and fiancé Lil' John Roberts have just welcomed son Jett Hamilton Roberts into the world.
The newest addition to their family arrived on Monday, April 20, at 4:20 p.m., weighing 7 pounds, 8 ounces, reports EOnline.com.
Jill is currently appearing as a Botswanan detective, Precious Ramotswe in No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency on HBO.

"The first trimester I spent in Botswana," the three-time Grammy winner said.
She and Lil' John have been together since 2007, and announced their engagement last June.
