Big congratulations are in order for Kenya Moore and husband Marc Daly, as they welcomed their first child over the weekend!
She gave birth at 9:39 AM EST on Sunday morning, November 4th, according to PEOPLE. It's a girl for the happy couple who weighed in at 5lbs and 12ozs.
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star revealed the special meaning behind the name they gave their daughter. "Brooklyn because that’s where we met and fell in love, and Doris after my grandmother who passed away last year and who raised me," she told PEOPLE.
PEOPLE also reported that Kenya is doing well and “Brooklyn is very alert and active." The end of her pregnancy became a big struggle as she had to be induced weeks ahead of her planned due date (Thanksgiving) due to preeclampsia.
Kenya first spoken about being with child during the most recent RHOA reunion and has brought her millions of followers along on her pregnancy journey ever since.
