BABIESSinger Charlotte Church Has a Baby Girl

Welsh singer and her boyfriend, rugby player , welcomed their first child, daughter Ruby Megan, on Thursday night, she confirmed on her official site Monday.
Ruby made her debut at 10:35 p.m., clocking in at 6 lb. 12 oz., the same weight as her mom when she was born.
"Charlotte said that they have spent the weekend receiving family and friends, and everything is fine with both her and Ruby," reads the message on her Web site.
A spokesperson also confirmed the birth, which took place in Charlotte's U.K. home, stating, "Midwives were present at the home birth."
Last month, the starlet's mother, Maria, told reporters her daughter was considering not only a home birth, but a water birth as well. "Her friend had a water birth and told her how great it was, so she's going for it. They are all the rage at the moment and there are a lot of benefits with them too."
The couple announced the pregnancy on her site in March, citing media speculation as the reason for confirming the news.
The 21-year-old, who burst onto the music scene in 1999 and currently hosts Britain’s The Charlotte Church Show, has been dating Gavin, 25, for two years.
