These days, she’s filled with Glee! Melissa Benoist, who appeared on the teen musical dramedy, welcomed her first child with husband Chris Wood.

"Huxley Robert Wood got here a few weeks ago ♥️ and this little boy is everything," she captioned an adorable Instagram post of her baby boy’s hand reaching for her finger on Friday, September 25.

The actress, 31, and her Supergirl costar, 32, announced the news of their expanding family shortly before the world went into quarantine due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

"A non-canine child is coming to our family very soon!!! ??? @christophrwood has always been an old dad by nature but now he’s going to be a real one!" she captioned the Instagram reveal on March 4, sharing two pictures (one of which featured a baby "bump" in her husband’s belly!).

Wood and Benoist met on set of their superhero show when Wood first guest starred as Mon-El in 2016. The pair didn’t make things official until March 2017 but were engaged less than two years later in February 2019. They tied the knot seven months later. "We had a really, really nice day," Benoist said of their wedding. "It was very special."

However, Benoist’s marriage to Wood wasn’t her first trip down the aisle. The actress was previously married to Glee costar Blake Jenner — Benoist once said the two had been married "longer than anybody knows" — but split in December 2016. Their divorce was made final a year later.

Wood was previously tied to Carrie Diaries costar AnnaSophia Robb and then his Containment costar Hanna Mangan Lawrence before meeting his now-wife on the set of their CW superhero series.

"I’m always going to remember looking at you every five minutes on this day knowing both of us were thinking 'how in the world did we get so lucky?'" Benoist captioned a wedding photo of the two. "I still don’t understand how, but you prove to me every day that I’m one of the damn luckiest out there."

The CW announced earlier this week that Supergirl would be taking her last flight. The hit show will conclude with the upcoming sixth season, which is set to premiere in 2021.
