Pink's ruby red ballgown for her Oscars performance of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," in a tribute to Judy Garland, was totally on point, as was her signature cropped 'do. But the short locks weren't always part of the master style plan.

“The original plan was to utilize a wig or partial wig to obtain a Judy Garland inspired look. However, the gown changed the game,” reveals Pamela Neal, Art Director of BENJAMIN with Negin Zand salon in West Hollywood. “We really wanted Pink’s voice to be the star of this performance, so I went with a classic look perfect for Hollywood’s biggest night.”

To complement the Elie Saab gown, Pamela cut and colored Pink’s hair on Friday evening in order to obtain the perfect platinum blonde color. For Oscar night, Pamela used all Davines products, including Dede Leave-In Mist and Oil Non Oil prior to blow drying Pink's tresses, and finished it with Davines Serum.
