David Foster is once again engaged.

The 68-year-old music mogul reportedly asked his girlfriend and former American Idol star Katharine McPhee for her hand in marriage over the weekend.

The blissful couple is currently vacationing on the Italian island of Capri, where the 34-year-old actress is said to have been showing off her engagement ring on Sunday, July 1. (Katharine has also been sharing plenty of snaps from their enviable summer getaway on Instagram.)

The couple first sparked romance rumors in September 2017 when David’s daughter, Erin, shared a photo of David and Katharine to Instagram Story with the caption, "excited about my new stepmom."

This will be David’s fifth marriage and Katharine’s second.

After the exciting news hit the web, Katharine put fans out of their misery, confirming the engagement with a cheeky meme.

Katharine was previously married to Nick Cokas. The couple’s six-year marriage ended after Katharine was spotted kissing her married Smash director, Michael Morris.

David’s list of exes is a little bit longer. He was previously married to B.J. Cook, Rebecca Dyer, Linda Thompson, and most recently Yolanda Hadid.

He split from the model in Dec. 2015, after four years of marriage, and their divorce was finalized in October 2017.
