"Big Girls Don’t Cry” is her signature song — but odds are it will be all smiles as Fergie finally walks down the aisle with fiance? Josh Duhamel on Jan. 10 in L.A.
The couple, dating since 2004, have worked hard at planning their big day, paying close attention to every last detail from the guest list to the gift registry.
On Dec. 7, Fergie, 33, and Josh, 36, selected items for their wedding registry at Crate & Barrel in Beverly Hills. “Josh picked up a big Calphalon stockpot and scanned it — but not before fumbling and eventually dropping the scanner, which sent Fergie into a fit of laughter,” an eyewitness tells OK!.

That’s one way to tone her tummy — and Fergie has been following a strict fitness regime for weeks to shed the 13 pounds she gained to play a prostitute in the upcoming movie musical Nine. Besides banishing sugar and carbs, “She’s working out hard,” a pal of the singer says. “Every day she does cardio and free weights. She tries to keep moving as much as possible.”
Of course, she's going to have a six-tier cake to gorge on after saying "I do," so the work isn't without a reward at the end of the rainbow.
What will the bride wear on her sleek physique? Sources tell OK! the dress is Dolce & Gabbana. While a friend tells OK! Fergie wants her style to be “classic and simple,” the fashionista has hinted she’ll put her own spin on things. “Don’t expect me to be in white,” she has said. “Maybe I’ll be in black or red or purple.”

What is certain is that Fergie will have an A-list guest list befitting a duchess. Among those invited: pals Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel; Fergie’s Nine castmates Kate Hudson, Pene?lope Cruz and Daniel Day-Lewis; and Josh’s Transformers co-stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox.
However, one source tells OK!, not even these celeb guests know where the ceremony itself is going to be!
"The day of the wedding they’re going to send guests instructions via email." explains the source. "They’ll be given an address and have to go a couple of locations before they get shuttled to the wedding itself."
As Fergie’s friend tells OK!, “She just wants the day to be magical, and have all of the people who have touched her life be a part of a day she’ll remember for the rest of hers!”
