Grease Star's Slippery Wedding Trick

Slippery Grease star Olivia Newton-John has had a surprise wedding. Not only that -- she had two of them!

The actress married John Easterling, CEO of Amazon Herb Company, on June 21 in Cuzco, Peru, and followed that up with another ceremony on June 30 in Jupiter, Fla., which was presided over by John's friend, Entertainment Tonight reports. Olivia and John were the only attendees at the second event.

The marriage was first reported by Australia's Daily Telegraph, which stated that John invited friends over for what they said was Fourth of July party at their Malibu home last Friday.

But when their guests showed up ready for a barbeque, the couple, who began dating last year, told them it was actually their wedding day.

The paper says the big day nearly ground to a halt when a brush fire broke out nearby.

But a source told the newspaper that Olivia said she had gone through too much in her life already and she was not going to let anything interfere with her happiness.

American entrepreneur John is Olivia's second husband. She divorced Matt Lattanzi in the mid-1990s after he cheated on her.

In 2005, she was devastated by the disappearance of her boyfriend of nine years, 48-year-old Patrick McDermott, who went missing on a fishing trip off the California coast.
