Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth are putting in work to preserve their marriage.

RadarOnline.com was the first to report that the couple is presiding over a conservative Christian spring marriage retreat later this month after the couple announced their attendance on Instagram.

“Getting some work done at camp. We have the Spring Marriage Retreat coming up on April 20-22,” the couple captioned a photo of their family of three. “Come hear Austin and I share our testimony. Limited space available…”

The event is run by Austin’s parents, Terry and Roxanne Forsyth, who created Fort Rock Christian Family Camp And Retreat Center.

According to the retreat’s website, participants can expect “powerful truths from scripture encouraging couples to strive for a marriage the way God designed it to be….Coupled with team building activities, and humorous games, these 2 night, 3 day events are perfect for rekindling, reviving and renewing any love story!”

Joy -- who recently welcomed the couple’s first child, Gideon -- and Austin’s marriage counseling trip comes months after the two were plagued my shotgun wedding rumors.

As OK! readers’ know, many fans speculated that Joy and Austin had premarital sex, despite their vow to abstain until marriage, after Joy announced she was pregnant just three months after she and Austin tied the knot.

Fans also called her out for the size of her baby bump, saying that it was too big for her to just be three-months pregnant at the time.

Adding to the speculation, Joy did not give pregnancy updates like her sisters, Jill and Jessa, who updated fans on the status of their baby for the majority of their pregnancies.
