Actor and musician Ray J has filed for divorce from Princess Love — even after the couple seemingly reconciled their differences in May.

At the time, Love was the one who initiated the split proceedings, even going as far as requesting full custody of their two children. A month later she requested that the divorce be dismissed.

Now Ray J is the one who wants to get out of the marriage, filing the papers in Los Angeles earlier this week. An exact reason for the split isn't clear, but back in May, a representative for the couple said that the two were going through a rough patch.

"It's a very difficult time for both Princess and Ray J and we are asking that we just let them have their privacy as they work through and deal with this very trying situation," the rep said at the time.

Even before the first attempt at divorce, Ray J told Wedny Williams on The Wendy Williams Show that his marriage has been rocky.

"I would never get married if it wasn't super locked between us. I think what we've got to work on is just keeping our circle tight where it's just me and her and our babies," he told the talk show host.

In the past, Love has claimed that her husband has been unfaithful to her. "About two weeks ago, I found an extra phone that Ray had been hiding," Love said over Instagram Live. "He had been giving his number out. He basically admitted that he had been entertaining some women. I told him to just be honest with me. If you're honest with me then we can get through it. He made it seem like he did it because we've been arguing a lot lately."
