Nicole Richie has shot back at speculation that she has suffered from an eating disorder saying it's "insulting and irresponsible."
The mom-of-two dropped down to a size zero back in 2006, and was snapped looking remarkably frail on the beach in her bikini but she tells the UK's Marie Claire that she was never anorexic.

"I felt it was a little unfair to say someone has an eating disorder when they don't," says the 28-year-old.
"It's extremely insulting and irresponsible. An eating disorder is serious and it's a disease."
The former reality star, now mother to two-year old Harlow and four-month old Sparrow with boyfriend Joel Madden, is getting rave reviews for her jewelry line and fashion collection.

"I'm just one to live in the present and enjoy the time that I'm having. Going into my past is just not something that I do," she says.
