Janet Jackson Confirms She Married Beau Wissam Al Mana LAST YEAR!

Janet Jackson is definitely one for being able to keep a good secret!

The singer has just confirmed that she tied the knot with partner Wissam al Mana months ago!

There had been reports that she was planning a lavish wedding in the coming weeks but in fact, the Control star has been married the whole time.

"The rumors regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true. Last year we were married in a quiet, private and beautiful ceremony," the couple told ET in a joint statement.

"Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favorite children’s charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy. With love, Wissam and Janet."

This is Janet's third marriage, that we know of! She eloped with childhood friend James DeBarge in 1984 but the union was annulled a short time later. Janet also had a secret marriage of eight years to Rene Elizondo but filed for divorce in 2000.
