Entertainment Tonight has confirmed that Jeopardy host Alex Trebek has suffered a minor heart attack. A spokesperson from the show confirmed that 67-year-old Trebek is resting comfortably in a Los Angeles hospital and will resume taping of Jeopardy in January.

Trebek is expected to remain at Cedars-Sinai for two days for tests and observation, a Jeopardy spokesman said.

Trebek escaped a car crash unhurt in 2004 when he fell asleep at the wheel, sideswiped a string of mailboxes and wound up in a ditch, according to the California Highway Patrol.
