The Amazing Spider-Man hasn't even made it into theaters yet and already they're reportedly working on a sequel!

According to Entertainment Weekly, Sony has already given a sequel for The Amazing Spider-Man the green light.
The Amazing Spider-Man starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone hits theaters next July 3 and a release date for the sequel has reportedly been scheduled for May 2, 2014.
Guess this means they expect the film to do well!
“It speaks volumes about our confidence in what we are seeing on the new film and our desire to move quickly on the next installment,” a studio source tells EW.
