Ariana Grande is officially a Grammy winner.
She took home Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener before the 61st Annual Grammy Awards began on Sunday, February 10. The majority of the honors were given out in the hours leading up to the show beginning.
It's the "Thank U, Next" singer's first win ever after previously being nominated five times.
Ariana was set to take the stage at the Grammys on Sunday's show but backed out days beforehand. She slammed producer Ken Ehrlich who claimed she "felt it was too late for her to pull something together."
"I've kept my mouth shut but now you’re lying about me. I can pull together a performance over night and you know that, Ken," she tweeted on Wednesday, February 7. "It was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that I decided not to attend. I hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more."
"I offered 3 different songs," Ariana said in a separate tweet. "It’s about collaboration. it’s about feeling supported. It’s about art and honesty. It's not politics and not doing favors or playing games. It’s just a game y’all.. and I’m sorry but that’s not what music is to me."
She bested Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Kelly Clarkson, P!nk and Taylor Swift to win Best Pop Album.
Ariana later tweeted about her win, writing "I know i’m not there tonight (trust, i tried and still truly wished it had worked out tbh) and i know i said i try not to put too much weight into these things .... but f**k ....... this is wild and beautiful. thank you so much."
