If you haven't watched last night's season premiere of Army Wives yet, stop, bookmark this page and run to your DVR. But if you have, read on!

We finally got to see the fallout of the bombing at Hump Bar, and it wasn't pretty. The show had warned us that people would die. But our jaws are still dangling over the fact that Claudia Joy's college-bound daughter, Amanda, was one of the fatalities. And that includes series star Catherine Bell.

"It was pretty shocking to all of us when we got the script" reveals Catherine, who plays Nurse Denise Sherwood. "Amanda is like Denise's daughter, so it's huge how she deals with it."

And dealing with it is gonna be a big challenge for Denise. "My character doesn't know what to do with Claudia Joy," Catherine says. "She doesn't know how to comfort her. Sometimes you just don't know what to say to a friend who's had that kind of lost. It's pretty intense."

Denise's life is about to get even more intense as temptation makes its way into her life, in the form of a handsome new doctor on the post. "He also rides motorcycles and they become good friends." Really. Just how good?

"I don't know where that's going yet," Catherine admits, adding that she hopes Denise doesn't take the bait. "She's the one last season who gave Roland a hard time for having an affair. She couldn't believe that he did that. But Denise and her husband are having serious problems, and he's away again this season."

Sounds like that cute new doc might just start making a few house calls.
