"Going to the beach, having dinner, looking at the water, then going on a ferris wheel, then going to play games," she says. "I’m describing Santa Monica Pier right now but that’s not what I’m thinking of. I’m thinking of, like, The Notebook scene. I’m playing movies in my head. And then when it comes down to it they’re like, 'What do you want to do?' And I’m like, 'I wanna go eat and then lets go home.' I just want to eat and go home and watch a movie. Keep it simple."

While she loves The Notebook, Ashley doesn't need overwhelming gestures of romance to win her over.
"I’m kind of a guy myself," she laughs. "I’m more of a tomboy. I don’t like to get dressed up for things so I love to keep it casual. As long as the guy makes me laugh I’m happy."
