After months of speculation, it has been confirmed that Ashton Kutcher has officially signed on to replace Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men. But Ashton won't be living the Sheen Dream just yet, as he will start out making way less money than Charlie earned.
TMZ reports that Ashton will be making "more than half of Charlie Sheen's base salary, but less than $900,000 an episode."

Charlie's base salary on the show was $1.25 million an episode. According to TMZ, Ashton will make more than $625,000.
Right before Charlie's media bender and fallout with Two and a Half Men executive producer/creator Chuck Lorre, he was reportedly making more than $2 million an episode.
Reportedly, CBS executive Les Moonves has already approved Ashton's casting and pay. An announcement that the sitcom is coming back for season nine is expected to be made very soon.

Sources tell TMZ that original cast members Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones will be coming back.
No word on how Ashton will fit in exactly to the plot, but he will not be playing the Charlie Harper character; rather, he'll play a new face that joins the "men" in their Malibu abode.
Ashton and Chuck allegedly hit it off immediately, making the casting decision very easy for the powerhouse producer.
