"Big Meeting" Held in Michael Jackson Homicide Case

It seems the homicide case against Dr. Conrad Murray in the death of Michael Jackson is getting closer to resolution— or it's at least a step in that direction: TMZ reports that a "big meeting" was held in the L.A. County District Attorney's Office last Friday.

TMZ cites law enforcement sources who say D.A. Steve Cooley was on the list of attendees. The D.A.'s office is reportedly set to charge Dr. Murray — who administered the strong anaesthetic Propofol to Michael in the hours before his death last June — with involuntary manslaughter.

The deputy D.A. has all of the LAPD's investigative notes and files concerning the case so far. The case could be filed as early as this week.
