Nothing says romance like a top-secret wedding and when said wedding takes place where The Notebook was filmed, well, there's pretty much no way to possibly top that.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively shocked the world when they exchanged vows last night at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and today we learned the location was the same place as Rachel McAdams' fictional summer home in the romantic blockbuster, The Notebook.

There were about 60 guests at the southern affair where Florence + The Machine performed.

The ink dried on Ryan's divorce from Scarlett Johansson in July of 2011, who he wed in an even more secret fashion in Canada.

“Where we got married there were bears and whales and eagles ... I never thought that I’d be planning my wedding in a dark alley somewhere, but it turned out that way," Scarlett told David Letterman after their 2008 nuptials. "It was really quite secretive and I felt like I was doing a drug deal — without all the fun.”

The actor began dating Blake in October after meeting her on the set of Green Lantern and the duo quickly cohabitated in a purchased home in upstate New York.

"I couldn't be happier for her," Blake's Gossip Girl co-star and ex-boyfriend, Penn Badgley, told People. "I think it's everything that it should be."

While neither actor revealed any subliminal hints about wanting to get married, Blake's been telling almost every magazine that she's ready to settle down and can't wait to have kids.

"When I look for a partner there has to be a strong connection. He needs to be my best friend, whether he's macho or sensitive — it doesn't matter. He also has to make me laugh. I enjoy someone who's a lot of fun to be with," she told British publication more! this July. "He also needs to be kind, patient, caring and not take himself too seriously. And of course, he needs to appreciate my cooking! I'm very domestic."
