Whitney Houston died at the Beverly Hilton yesterday afternoon right before she was supposed to attend Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Party and then just after midnight, her 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina was brought to the hospital. But she was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center again this afternoon.

A family source tells RadarOnline.com, "She tried to ease the pain of losing her mother by having a few alcoholic drinks. She was distraught, on the verge of a complete breakdown. Not knowing what to do, members of her mother's entourage tried to calm her down with a sedative. The two were an unfortunate mix and she ended up passing out."

An ambulance was called to the same suite where Whitney was found and taken to the hospital.

However, the cause of why Bobbi Kristina was transported to Cedars on Sunday afternoon is still unknown.

Per Radar, Bobbi Kristina was reportedly in the lobby of the hotel around the time when Whitney's body was pronounced dead after being found at 3:55 p.m. ET.

Reports are saying that the Grammy-award winning songstress was found partially submerged in the bathtub of her room.

On the night of Whitney's death at 48, her ex-husband and Bobbi Kristina's father, Bobby Brown went on with a scheduled performance with New Edition in Mississippi. An emotional Bobby told the crowd, "Just say a prayer for my daughter, say a prayer for her mother, and if you find the time please say a prayer for me because I am going to need it."
