The ice has thawed between Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt, and for a good cause!
The famous exes participated in a charity table read for the 1982 teen drama Fast Times At Ridgemont High, scheduled to stream on Thursday, September 17. Comedian Dane Cook, who also participated in the project, shared a photo of the attendees on Instagram.
In the screen grabs, the 50-year-old actress kept her look casual and seemed to be have a blast as she cupped her hands and smiled for the camera. The Oscar winner, who spotted a bright green shirt and long blonde locks, seemed to be enjoying himself.
Other actors involved in the project include Julia Roberts, Morgan Freeman, Henry Golding, Shia LaBeouf, Matthew McConaughey, Jimmy Kimmel, John Legend and Ray Liotta.
Sean Penn, who starred in the original film in 1982, will also participate, although he will not reprise his role as the iconic surfer dude Jeff Spicoli. Proceeds from the table read will go to Penn’s nonprofit CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) and REFORM Alliance.

The virtual charity event marked the first time Aniston and Pitt have been spotted publicly interacting since their run in at the Screen Actors Guild Award that went viral in January. The last time they acted together was for an episode of Friends.
The Morning Show star and the Ad Astra star were married from 2000-2005. During their divorce proceedings, there was intense speculation in the media that Pitt had been unfaithful to the Los Angeles native with his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star, Angelina Jolie, whom he started dating soon after the split.

The Ohio native and the Girl, Interrupted star were together for nine years before tying the knot in August 2014 at a private ceremony in Château Miraval, France. The two share six children together — Maddox, 19, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 12. In September 2016, Jolie filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences and the pair were declared legally single three years later.
Pitt has most recently been linked to 26-year-old model Nicole Poturalski, who is reportedly in an open marriage with millionaire Roland Mary. Aniston, for her part, has been single since calling it quits with Justin Theroux, her husband of two years, in 2017.
The Fast Times at Ridgemont High table read will air at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Thursday, September 17. The fundraiser will stream on CORE’s Facebook page and TikTok page as well as LiveXLive.
