Bravo's Andy Cohen had one major complaint about the 83rd Annual Academy Awards, and it was the hosting of James Franco and Anne Hathaway. Andy slammed the producers of the Oscars for featuring the PS 22 chorus who closed Sunday's ceremony by singing "Over the Rainbow." His words weren't so pretty.

Andy, who serves as Bravo’s senior vice president of original programming and development, dissed the fifth graders from PS 22 on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program yesterday.

“There was a thing called ‘Up With People’ in the ’70s or ’80s. ... Oscar night is not about 'Up With People.' Like, I don’t need to see that," he said. "It was just bad. It was just awful. It was horrible.”

He took the insult even farther, saying, "I literally, if I wasn’t going to go out to some parties, I would have slit them right then. It was the worst. I was looking for a knife to stick in my eyes. It was so terrible."

"Not at the end of the Oscars, you just ruined everything," Andy continued to rant.

And the fifth graders are fighting back.

One choir member, Abigail Sarfo, told the New York Post, "He's so mean! He should stop being so mean to us—we're little kids!"

"Nobody says bad stuff about the chorus," Antonio Perez, 10, added. "He's gonna get a piece of me!"
