Awards shows are just better when the host rocks. Point blank period. And clearly CBS holds onto a good host when they get one, because according to Deadline, Neil Patrick Harris is going to be hosting the Emmy Awards—again!

The Emmys don't air until September 22 of this year, so Neil has plenty of time to practice his opening monologue and his dance routines and whatever else he's got up his sleeve. But remember, Neil is also hosting this year's Tony Awards, which air next Sunday, June 9. Busy dude, eh?

And clearly this isn't exactly going to be Neil's first time at the rodeo. He's hosted the Tony's four times already and the Emmy's twice. Odds are that the Emmys will air right around the time of the final season premiere of How I Met Your Mother, so this was a smooth marketing plan on CBS's part. Good work, you guys.
