Britney: From One Mess to Another
Oct. 19 2007, Published 3:10 p.m. ET
Late Thursday evening, things seemed to be going okay for Britney Spears. It appeared that she was going to be getting back the visitation rights that were suspended earlier in the day, and her attorney in the ongoing hit-and-run case confirmed to OK! that, while criminal charges are still to be dealt with, the pop star had reached a civil agreement with the car's owner for "around $1,000."
That's when things started to go haywire. As Brit exited a Los Angeles-area medical building Thursday evening, she reportedly ran over the foot of an awaiting photographer. Accordimg to video shot on the scene, Brit covered her mouth in shock after the alleged incident, but did not stop her car. Others on the scene say the photographer appeared to not require any immediate medical attention.
