Britney Spears Pays Off Paparazzo

Britney Spears is footing the bill for running over paparazzo Ricardo Mendoza outside a Beverly Hills medical building in 2007.

The terms of the settlement haven't been disclosed but Ricardo was seeking $230,000 in damages and medical expenses after being mown over by her Mercedes, reports E! Online.

But he isn't the first pap to be pounded by the Circus star.

In November 2007, Britney fled over the feet of a Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy before driving over the toes of another photographer as she left the Four Seasons in the same month.

Mendoza sued in May for an unspecified amount, then followed in September with some specific demands: $195,000 in general damages, $16,533.59 for medical bills and $10,000 for any future foot problems.

Attorney Benjamin C. Alvarez's rebuttal papers had described Mendoza as a "self-serving, profit-hungry paparazzo" who "positioned and placed himself in the roadway in front of Ms. Spears' vehicle."
