Britney Spears Sheds Some Tears on 'The X Factor'

Last night on The X Factor, Britney Spears shed tears as contestants dove into boot camp in Miami.

One by one, as various contestants folded under pressure, Britney couldn't help but feel for them. The numbers say it all: 60 acts were going toe to toe to be whittled down to 24 remaining competitors!

For instance, 15-year-old Jordan Shane simply forgot her lyrics and burst into tears, which made the "Toxic" singer break down, too!

Britney told L.A. Reid, "I don't like that she's crying. It makes me want to cry... I don't want to cry." He noted, "You already are." Hey, we're all human, right?

Britney Tweeted about her emotional connection to the contestants, writing, "I couldn't help getting emotional. It's so hard to watch them crack under pressure when I know they want it so badly."
