Broadway Strike Comes to an End!

After a strike by the Stagehands Union went on strike almost three weeks ago, plunging the theaters of Broadway in New York City into darkness, there's finally some good news, as a tentative agreement was reached late Wednesday that would have most, if not all, of the strike-stricken shows back up and running by Thursday night.

Among those affected by the strike were some big names of pop music and the silver screen, like Jennifer Garner, whose production of Cyrano De Bergerac was closed. Of course, as she said at the time, this break allowed her to spend more time with her infant daughter, Violet.

And boy-bander-turned-stage-actor Lance Bass can now get back to work in the Broadway version of Hairspray. Though, when OK! caught up with him during the strike, he said he was enjoying the time off, and "watching the seasons change."

So it's time once again to line up for tickets to your favorite show. Let's just hope that Broadway and all its dependent businesses can recover some of the millions in ticket revenue that have been lost in recent weeks.
