Carrie Ann Inaba Gushes About "Small, Intimate" Wedding Plans

Now that the Dancing with the Stars season is over, judge Carrie Ann Inaba has a lot more time on her hands to start planning her upcoming wedding with fiancé Jesse Sloan. The 43-year-old gushed about all of her ceremony ideas while out in L.A. on Saturday night!

“I think it’s going to be a small, intimate thing,” Carrie explained to reporters at 102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball concert of wanting a more low-key ceremony after Jason publicly proposed to her on Live with Regis and Kelly this year.

Carrie may have been tied up working on her hit ABC dance show in the past few months, but the bride-to-be still managed to find a dress already!

“As soon as I found out that I was going to get married when he proposed to me, I went online and I bought this amazing dress off of like Shop Bop or Blue Fly,” the former In Living Color star said, “I just bought it and I have it so its my first option and its sort of a negligee dress.”

The Hawaii native also explained that she would want the wedding to be back in her hometown.

“Probably Hawaii,” Carrie told reporters of where the ceremony will be and added, “I always thought that wedding would be in a lagoon and we’d say our vows.”

As for the décor? “I love those earthy flowers with the twigs coming out and they look like sculptures. I also sort of like that purple and green!”

Carrie accepted Jason’s surprise proposal on Mar. 31 of this year.
