Chris Kirkpatrick is having a blast on CMT’s Gone Country 2.
Who is his dream country collaboration?
“Willie Nelson would be a great one,” he tells me. “I like his style, I like the way he delivers everything. He’s not a great singer, but he’s got that honest delivery to his music.”
The *NSYNCer, 36, says he’s dating but not in a serious relationship.
“I can’t sew my oats with women, so I don’t know if I’ll ever have a steady, but I like to date a lot. I like to go out.”

How would Chris describe his perfect date?
“Sometimes I feel like going out and partying or going away and traveling somewhere. Sometimes I feel like dinner and a movie or a DVD.”
When he’s not working on alternative-pop act Nigels 11, Chris can be found playing his favorite video games, Army of One and Pirate.
“I play video games a lot, but it’s mostly music.”
How does Nigels 11 compare to *NSYNC?
“It still has the melodic overtones and hooky melodies but it’s a lot different. It’s not the poppy-pop stuff. It’s a little bit … I don’t want to say edgier, because that’s not really what it is, but it’s on a different vein of the pop genre than *NSYNC.”
