It looks like things just got a lot worse for Chad Ochocino Johnson. According to reports, the 34-year-old's wife of less than six weeks, Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada, has filed for divorce due to the recent allegations of domestic abuse and a pre-martial affair.

Evelyn turned in the necessary legal papers on August 14 stating her marriage is "irretrievably broken."

The pair just tied the knot on July 4 and the move to end the marriage so quickly comes after the NFL's player arrest over the weekend for an alleged dispute the couple got into when Evelyn found a receipt for a box of condoms in his car.

The argument turned physical and the reality star told authorities her husband head-butted. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she was treated for a "pretty good-sized" laceration, police Capt. Dale Engle tells NFL.com.

The Miami Dolphins receiver was then taken into custody and later released from jail on a $2,500 bond Sunday after being charged with misdemeanor domestic violence in Florida.

RadarOnline.com reports that Evelyn's suspicions that Chad was cheating before they got married were confirmed when a woman from Boston confessed to having an ongoing romance with him from January to May.

After the alleged incident took place, Chad learned his contract with the Dolphins had been terminated.

But that's not all.

VH1 then canceled his reality show, Ev & Ocho, due to the situation.

"Due to the unfortunate events over the past weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series Ev & Ocho from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it," a network spokesperson tells Us Weekly.
