Charlie Sheen Pleads Not Guilty in Domestic Violence Case

Charlie Sheen pleaded not guilty to three counts related to an alleged domestic violence incident involving his wife Brooke Mueller yesterday.

Charlie was arrested on Christmas Day and later charged with a felony menacing count and two misdemeanors (3rd degree assault and criminal mischief), reports ET Online.

Charlie's rep Stan Rosenfield shared details about the hearing with reporters. "Charlie looks forward to the trial to clear his name," he said.

"It was very quick," Rosenfield said of the court hearing. "The judge came in, asked a few questions, there were a couple of dates entered into by the judge for pre-trial hearing and things of that nature. A date was agreed upon for the trial.

"The judge asked, 'How does he plead?' and he pleaded not guilty on all counts." The next court date has been set for July 21.
