Bachelor host Chris Harrison is annoyed that he must quarantine for a two-week period while Bachelorette alum JoJo Fletcher temporarily fills in as TV host for season 16 of The Bachelorette.

“Chris was not happy they were going to make him quarantine in Palm Springs for two weeks without working,” a source told Us Weekly.

“He insisted he simply dropped his son off in his dorm room and left, social distancing the entire time,” the insider added.

Despite leaving the set, the 49-year-old Texas native may not have to quarantine for the entire 14 days, as the franchise is looking at other safety measures to get him back to filming. But for now, the reality star, 29, will “fill in” for Harrison. “She had been self-quarantining at her home,” the insider added.

38-YEAR OLD CLARE CRAWLEY IS THE NEXT ‘BACHELORETTE’!

Harrison decided to flee the Bachelor “bubble” to drop his son, Joshua, off at college in Texas, OK! previously reported. By breaching COVID quarantine, he put the cast and crew at risk for the novel coronavirus.

An insider told OK! that before they started filming, “everyone was put into strict quarantine” and “everyone had to quarantine for two weeks.”

“The entire cast and crew have been fully locked down at a resort in Palm Springs for COVID safety reasons,” the source explained about the current situation.

In March, production for season 16 of The Bachelorette was put on pause due to the ongoing pandemic. Shortly after Clare Crawley got to the lavish resort in Palm Springs, California, she quit the show because she fell in love with contestant Dale Moss.

There were rumors that the new couple spoke before they started filming, but an insider told Life & Style magazine that “the couple won’t say exactly when cupid struck.” Now, the two are reportedly engaged.

THESE 7 BACHELOR NATION STARS DIED WAY TOO YOUNG

Due to Crawley’s surprising exit, producers brought in Tayshia Adams to become the next Bachelorette.

After the shocking news, Bachelor Nation stars couldn’t help but gush over ABC’s new choice. “Congrats @TayshiaAdams — good luck and I hope you find yourself a better kisser,” her ex Colton Underwood tweeted, while Mykenna Dorn from Peter Weber’s season wrote, “If this is true then this will for sure be the most dramatic season EVER!!”

“Guess we’ll all have to tune in to see how this one goes down,” she added. “I hope both Clare and Tayshia leave happy and in love!!”

Hannah Ann Sluss, Wells Adams, and Becca Kufrin — who is newly single — have also been spotted at the resort.

The Bachelorette will premiere this fall, but something tells us that more twists and turns lie ahead.
