Clive Davis & Stevie Wonder Remember Whitney Houston at Funeral in Newark

As friends and family gather in Newark to help lay Whitney Houston’s body to rest, Clive Davis and Stevie Wonder said a few words to help remember the legendary singer’s life.

"I loved her very much. Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind,” Clive explained at New Hope Baptist Church on Saturday after Alicia Keys gave a touching tribute to Whitney, via E! Online.
Clive added, “Yes, she admitted to crises in her life. Yes, she confessed to Oprah about her searing battles. But when I needed her, she was there for me. An eternally loyal friend."
At 2:13 PM EST in N.J., icon Stevie Wonder the took the podium to sing for Whitney, whom he admitted he, “had a little crush on.”

Before belting out “Love's in Need of Love Today,” for the 48-year-old, Stevie said, “I just had so much respect for her love of music.”
